MANUEL-TURIZO

Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He has made major global inroads into the Latin pop mainstream. In 2017 his hit track from 2016, Una Lady Como Tu won the Colombian Kids Choice Award Favorite Song. His debut album was a long-player ADN to the local Sony distributor in Medellin La Industria Inc. The album reached the top of the charts at number eighteen on the Top Latin Albums charts. Vaina Loca the album that was one of the Top Five smash hit in 2010, featured him alongside Ozuna. In the year 2020, he worked with Noriel for Mala Influencia and then released her debut album Dopamina the next year. Then, in 2021 He sang a duet 2021 alongside TINI for her smash hit Maldita Foto. 2000 also saw the huge record La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo has a musical background, both his elder brother and mother are also musicians. In his interviews, Turizo has said that music is an essential part of his life. As a child was in school, he took guitar and saxophone. Although his first career choice was that of veterinarian but his brother Julian advised him to begin taking singing lessons from an instructor in Cuban. This transformed his life forever.
