Emma
Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson born to British lawyers Jacqueline Luesby & Chris Watson in Paris, France. As a young girl of just five, she moved to Oxfordshire and enrolled in the Dragon School. Emma was only six when she decided she wanted to become an actress. She studied for a number of years at Stagecoach Theatre Arts, a Part-time theatre school located in Oxford where she studied acting and singing. Through a school play as well as a Stagecoach show, she was as the lead role at age 10, and acted. In 1999 casting began for Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2001) the movie adaptation of British writer J.K. Rowling's bestselling novel. Emma was discovered by Emma's Oxford Theatre instructor. David Heyman informed Emma, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint following auditions for 8 times. They were cast as three leads Hermione Gringer Harry Potter Ron Weasley. The debut of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001) was Emma's debut on the screen in cinema. The film was also the film that was most popular during 2001. Opening days and weekends of ticket sales were record-breaking. The critics were impressed by the movie and its performances. The Daily Telegraph, an important British newspaper, called Emma's performance "amazing". Emma received the Young Artist Award as the leading young actress in an feature Film. The actress was awarded five times for her performance in the movie.
