Angelica Panganiban, a Filipino American model and actress, who also serves as a TV hostess and comedian. Regarded as the new Queen of Drama by several media outlets, Panganiban is regarded as one of the most seasoned and versatile actresses in the Philippines. Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston was forced to put Angelica Hale on ECMO Life-Support because she required life-saving medical interventions. She became septic, suffering organ failure, including kidneys which did not heal. Peritoneal dialysis, and then hemolysis was her new norm. Her return home was finally made after 80 days of hospitalization, from the point where she was near death to her long journey back to healthy. Her life had been forever altered. After a year and a half of dialysis, Angelica was able to undergo the most significant operation she had ever undergone- her kidney transplant. Angelica's mom was the only person who was able to donate an organ. Angelica together with her mom underwent successful kidney transplantation on September 13, 2013 at two incredible hospitals situated right next to one another - Emory University Hospital & Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale pursued her dream to become a famous person for years after.
