Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a musical family. The majority of her childhood was spent listening to classical music, old boleros, and classic ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana is a lover of singing tangos as well as operas. Additionally, she enjoys drama performances. She was taught by her mother to sing. She began more intensive vocal training with Flavio Belcerra, who was 16 at the time when he was a renowned Mexican opera tenor. In the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. She sang throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and various cities while a student and professional. She was a member of the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus in the United States before moving to southern California. The singer currently sings classic Latin American songs at private concerts as a singer. Passion and enthusiasm for performing, painting, and performing has her participating in a myriad of local activities as a performer and teacher. Ana was also a part of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is now a teacher in the Performance Loft. Ana finds it a pleasure to have having the chance to share her passion and appreciation for old-fashioned Latin American songs with others as she hopes to inspire a passion, especially among younger generations to keep the music alive and alive.Viva Mexico!
