Jane Russell

 Jane Russell, an American model, actress and singer who had a net worth in excess of $40 million when she died on February 28 2011. Jane Russell is famous for her status as a sexual icon in the film industry. Her move from the Midwest to California for the chance to play her first film role in "The Outlaw" in 1943. She was the only one of five and the eldest child to Geraldine Russell and Roy William Russell. Her siblings were Kenneth, Wallace, Jamie and Thomas. Her father was a U.S. Army first lieutenant, and her mother was an actress in a traveling troupe. Jane started her piano lessons as a child thanks to her mother. Jane later became interested in drama and joined Van Nuys High School's stage production team. After the death of her father in her mid-40s, Jane decided to become a professional designer. But she ended up working as receptionist. Jane started modeling when her mother encouraged her to. She also studied acting and drama with Max Reinhardt's Theatrical Workshop.
